The Tampa Bay Buccaneers released their Tuesday injury report ahead of Thursday night’s matchup against the Dallas Cowboys, and a new name was added to the list.
Kicker Chase McLaughlin did not participate in Tuesday’s walk-through due to a right groin/hip injury. With the Buccaneers playing on a short week, his status will be one to monitor closely when the team releases its final injury report Wednesday.
Quarterback Baker Mayfield remained a non-participant with his injured right thumb, while safety
Antoine Winfield Jr., cornerback Benjamin Morrison and linebacker SirVocea Dennis also remained out of practice. Winfield is already expected to miss two-to-four weeks with a slight rib fracture suffered against Green Bay.
There was some positive news for Tampa Bay, however, as linebacker Josiah Trotter improved from limited participation Monday to full participation Tuesday despite his knee injury. Outside linebacker Anthony Nelson was added to the report with an illness and was limited.
For Dallas, there were no changes among its non-participants. Cornerback Cobie Durant, linebacker DeMarvion Overshown and tackle Drew Shelton all remained out with their respective injuries. Guard Tyler Smith was limited for the second consecutive day with a thumb injury.
