Barcelona captain Raphinha will return to training on Thursday ahead of some key fixtures for Hansi Flick’s side in La Liga and the Champions League.
The Brazil star has missed Barcelona’s last two games against Getafe and Galatasaray due to a knock picked up on international duty but will hopefully be given the green light to return shortly.
According to multiple reports in Spain, Raphinha will train with the group on Thursday and wants to be available for Saturday’s match against Real Betis.
Barcelona
will assess the Brazilian ahead of the game to see if he can take part but are unwilling to take any risks as they then go on to face huge games against Paris Saint-Germain and Galatasaray.
Raphinha’s return will be a huge boost ahead of three important fixtures, although Barca have scored seven times in the two games they have played without their injured skipper.
Frenkie de Jong is another player worth keeping an eye on. The Dutchman is also closing in on a return to fitness, with Hansi Flick previously suggesting he could be in the squad to face Betis.
