The Cleveland Browns are on to the next one, but not the 2026 NFL season just yet. The Browns have to finish off the 2025 NFL season with the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 18. While fans are left to discuss
the 2026 NFL draft order and the impact of beating the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 17, GM Andrew Berry could be in his final week as the man in charge of Cleveland’s roster.
Most believe that HC Kevin Stefanski, not Berry, will be seeking new employment at the end of the year, but the two in charge of the Browns since 2020 have been a package deal since the beginning. Berry’s future could be tied to what owner Jimmy Haslam wants to do from a power structure perspective.
In one of the final moves for the 2025 NFL season, Cleveland poached Detroit Lions OL Kingsley Eguakun from their practice squad by signing him to the Browns roster:
An undrafted free agent out of Florida, the Lions actually started Eguakun in Week 17 despite other options on their active roster. This season, Eguakun played in four games, starting two, with a total of 138 snaps on offense and 11 on special teams.
Pro Football Focus has the former Gator graded much higher as a pass protector (62.7) than in run blocking (43.2) for an overall grade of 46.5.
