The Dallas Cowboys managed to go out and look awful again as a team, losing to the Green Bay Packers. The worst part has been the offensive decline over the last two weeks as Dak Prescott and Company have been unable to find any kind of offensive rhythm. Brian Schottenheimer is under a lot of scrutiny as his offense has flamed out.
But somehow, the Cowboys are favored next week. And not favored by a little, but by a lot for NFL standards.
The Cowboys play on the road against their NFC East rival, the Philadelphia
Eagles, and are favored by 5.5 points according to our partners at FanDuel. Let that sink in.
It probably says more about the state of the Eagles playing without QB Jalen Hurts, the retirement of Lane Johnson and other issues they are having. Still, it’s hard to believe the Cowboys would be favored over anybody on the road tight now.
Would you take the Cowboys or the Eagles based on those odds?
