Well, well, well, here we are again. Last year, for my record predictions, I was actually pretty close. Even with Spencer Rattler at QB, a whole new coaching staff, and everything else new in New Orleans, I had the Saints going 7-10, only one game off of their actual final record of 6-11.
This year I hope my predictions are a close again as it put the Saints in a good position with a winning record to make the playoffs for the first time since the 2020 season.
Week 1: Saints at Lions – Loss
Week 2:
Saints at Ravens – Loss
Week 3: Saints vs. Raiders – Win
Week 4: Saints vs. Falcons – Win
Week 5: Saints vs. Vikings – Win
Week 6: Saints at Giants – Win
Week 7: Saints vs. Steelers (Paris) – Win
Week 8: BYE WEEK
Week 9: Saints vs. Browns – Win
Week 10: Saints vs. Panthers – Win
Week 11: Saints at Bears– Loss
Week 12: Saints at Bengals – Win
Week 13: Saints vs Packers – Loss
Week 14: Saints at Panthers – Loss
Week 15: Saints at Bucs – Loss
Week 16: Saints vs. Cardinals – Win
Week 17: Saints at Falcons – Loss
Week 18: Saints vs. Bucs – Win
Final Prediction: 10-7
10 wins is not much of an increase from my prediction last season, but it would be a massive step forward for the Saints. The schedule is, as of now, pretty favorable for the Saints, and if the team improves, they should be able to finish with a better record and earn a trip to the postseason. I could also easily see the win total at 9, but I’ll stay put at 10.
