The living wild card that is Keyshawn Davis has made a public appearance just recently, and in a social media post he claims to have secured a fight against Richardson Hitchins which will take place this December.
“Buddy finally accepted the fight,” Keyshawn said. “It’s time for me to pop back out…‘cause this fight in December, this sh-t personal. And I don’t lose personal fights. So I’m going to start popping back out. [Hitchins], I’m on your ass, December, and I’m going to beat your ass. Be there.”
While talented, Keyshawn has been quite erratic and has set back his own career on multiple occasions, all of which seemed to be completely avoidable. Keyshawn most recently faced heavy criticism for constantly calling out Devin Haney, only to have that fight formally ordered with him opting out of the fight when he had the mandatory position.
Hitchins, who’s now aligned with Zuffa, is in desperate need of an opponent with a credible name if he’s to advance his career any further than it is now, but we’ll have to wait for a more formal announcement to provide any more details.
