Rutgers women’s soccer had their full schedule released last Thursday, featuring 12 conference games and six non-conference games.
Their first match of the season comes against a formidable Tennessee team on the road on August 13, which is just under two months away. The Scarlet Knights will stay on the road for the next two games as they take on UConn on August 20 and Fairfield on August 23.
Rutgers first home matchup of the season comes against Boston College on August 27th. They will also take on Providence
on August 30 and Princeton on September 6 before heading into the conference part of their schedule.
The full conference schedule is at Oregon on September 10, at Washington (the defensing Big Ten Champions) on September 13, Purdue on September 20, UCLA on September 24, Wisconsin on September 27, at Iowa on October 4, Northwestern on October 8, Nebraska on October 11, at Penn State on October 17, at Ohio State on October 22, at Indiana, on October 25, and Maryland on October 30.
Last season was the first season since 2011 that Women’s soccer did not qualify for the NCAA tournament, and the first time since 2000 that the team finished the season with more losses than wins. The hope for the team is that 2025 is just a small outlier and they return to their winning ways in 2026.
