Josh Hokit aka “The Incredible Hok” hasn’t even had his first official UFC fight yet and he’s already peeved off several nations worth of fans with his online behavior.
Hokit earned a UFC contract on week two of this season’s Contender Series, finishing Guilherme Uriel via first round ground and pound. The finish was okay. His declaration afterward that the UFC heavyweight division is full of unentertaining overweight fat guys? Pretty funny. The callout of ‘sex traffickers, pedophiles, rapists’ and ‘transgenders’
was disturbing. And the Instagram story he posted calling Uriel a n—-r was just vile.
Hokit is now back at it, responding to a rumored November 1st Apex fight against Poland’s Łukasz Brzeski by insulting his opponent’s home country.
“Turns out that the Polish aren’t as dumb as my family that lived through WWII always said that they are,” Hokit wrote on X (formerly Twitter). “He don’t want this Red, White & Blue smoke. I’m a painful reminder of why his native tongue isn’t German. They will soon all kiss the US ring in Europe.”
“Polack’s are only half a chromosone better than the French,” he added in the replies. “But I’ll admit that there are some tough Poles…i.e Jan Blachowicz, Andrew Golota, and Joanna Jędrzejczyk.”
That … uh, compliment, didn’t stop Jan Blachowicz from blasting Hokit.
“The only reminder you are is that history lessons should be mandatory,” Blachowicz wrote. “Without Pułaski and Kościuszko, you’d still be bowing to the British crown. So before you talk about smoke – remember that White & Red helped to create the Red, White & Blue.”
Blachowicz is referring to Casimir Pułaski and Tadeusz Kościuszko, generals in the American War of Independence whose expertise in tactical warfare was considered essential by historians to defeating Britain.
“We should all thank the God in heaven for the United States becoming independent of the British long before World War 2,” Hokit replied. “We would all be speaking German. Because the British were getting their asses kicked by the Nazi’s before we entered into the war, SO THANK YOU FOR HELPING US TO SAVE YOU. God Bless America!”
He also had a chilling response to the many people who accused him of being a ‘wannabe Colby Covington.’
“I will be more than Colby ever dreamed of,” Hokit declared.
Hokit is 6-0 with all his wins coming via stoppage. Brzeski is 9-7-1 in MMA and 1-6 in UFC. We’ll keep you updated on whether this fight is officially confirmed for UFC Fight Night 263 on November 1st.
