Today, Denver Summit FC have announced the signing of two-time NWSL Best XI defender, Carson Pickett to a two-year contract through 2027.

In her legendary career, Pickett has already earned 185 NWSL appearances –
scoring six goals and tallying 16 assists. The defender has played for has played for Seattle Reign FC, Orlando Pride, North Carolina Courage, Racing Louisville FC, and had multiple loan spells with Brisbane Roar in Australia. Pickett was absolutely superb in 2021 and 2022 as she was named to NWSL Best XI and was a Defender of the Year finalist.
Internationally, she made her debut for the USWNT on June 28, 2022 against Colombia. The star defender continues to shatter glass ceilings and inspire everyone. She became the first player with a limb difference to appear for the senior team. Carson Pickett continues to be an incredible advocate for inclusion and disability awareness in sports.
