After at least a month of pursuing Noel Aseko Nkili, Eintracht Frankfurt finally managed to sign the Bayern Munich youth player for a reported €12 million:
Noel Aseko has completed a transfer from FC Bayern to Eintracht Frankfurt. The 20-year-old midfielder has been under contract at the German champions since 2022 and spent the last one and a half years on loan at Bundesliga 2 club Hannover 96.
Despite Bayern’s initial confidence in the player, going as far as rejecting
all bids as he is included in the club’s plans for the 2026/27 season, it appears that Aseko will have a better chance of playing first-team football with Die Adler.
Max Eberl said of the transfer: “Noel has steadily developed at our FC Bayern Campus and during his time at Hannover 96, and now wants to take the next step by playing Bundesliga football on a regular basis. These examples clearly show how talents can break through into professional football via FC Bayern. We wish Noel all the best for his future.”
Aseko joined Bayern’s youth setup from Hertha Berlin in 2022 and made 30 appearances with the reserve team. He then went on loan to Hannover 96 and played 34 matches with them and registered three goals and six assists. He has also become a regular fixture with the German U-21s, appearing five times.
