The Eagles won in a thrilling fashion on Sunday. Coming back to beat the Rams meant all hands on deck: Special teams, offense, defense, veterans and rookies. Here’s how the Eagles’ picks from the 2025 NFL Draft class did.
Jihaad Campbell: B
Jihaad Campbell continued to be a reliable presence in the middle of the Eagles defense. He didn’t have the flashy plays against the passing game that Zack Baun did, but he held his own and limited targets while in coverage. Sunday also allowed Campbell to put his versatility on display,
as he played off-ball, on the edge, and even covered players in the slot. Not a flashy game for the rookie linebacker, but a good one.
Drew Mukuba: B
After putting together a highlight reel through the first two weeks, Drew Mukuba had a quiet game against Los Angeles. Luckily, a quiet game for a safety is usually a good sign. He didn’t make any big plays, but he also didn’t give any up. Mukuba played all over the Eagles defense, dropping down into the slot and also center fielding. He is already a vital part of the Eagles defense.
The Rest
- Darius Cooper saw a few snaps on offense and special teams but didn’t see a target and left the game with an injury.
- Smael Mondon and Mac McWilliams saw special teams snaps.
- Ty Robinson was active but did not play.
