The Indianapolis Colts today released their Friday injury report ahead of week 8 of the NFL season against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Cornerback Justin Walley (knee) has been ruled OUT of Sundays game against the Jaguars. Walley being unable to play limits an already limited cornerback group. With Walley out it will be a first Colts start for Gushiken Kapena at the nickel cornerback position.
Wide receiver Anthony Gould (concussion) has
been ruled OUT of Sundays game against the Jaguars. Gould is one of the Colts main returners and with him out expect Josh Downs and Seth McGowan to have to return more. It could also mean Ashton Dulin gets some more reps at returner too.
Linebacker Bryce Boettcher (groin) has been listed as QUESTIONABLE for Sundays game against the Jaguars. Boettcher has been unable to practice all week due to a groin injury. It is surprising he is listed as questionable but the team must believe he has a shot at being available, although he won’t be starting if he is available.
Tight end Drew Ogletree (knee) has been listed as QUESTIONABLE for Sundays game against the Jaguars. Ogletree managed two limited practices thus week but was unable to practice today. The Colts do have Tyler Warren returning and a tight end duo if Alie-Cox and Mallory to rely on also. It looks likely that Ogletree may miss Sundays game.
