The Golden State Warriors have a very difficult game on their hands as they keep off the in-season tournament group stage. They’re on the road to face the Denver Nuggets, and they’re missing their superstar.
Here’s the full injury report.
Warriors
Out — Steph Curry (illness)
Curry will miss his second straight game as he battles an illness that has been attacking him for about a week. Steve Kerr told reporters on Thursday that Curry would not make the trip to Denver, so this isn’t new news.
Questionable Out — Al Horford (left foot soreness)
Horford has missed three games this year because he doesn’t play back-to-backs, but this is his first injury absence. He’s still listed as questionable, but the Warriors have ruled him out.
Out — De’Anthony Melton (left ACL surgery)
Same old, same old for Melton. He’s getting closer, but is still a little ways away.
Questionable Available — Jimmy Butler III (right low back strain)
After missing the last game-and-a-half with a back ailment, Butler is once again listed as questionable, but the Warriors just announced that he will be playing. Needless to say, that’s a huge thing.
Questionable Available — Moses Moody (right low back strain)
Moody has been arguable the team’s best player over the last two games, so it’s good that he’ll be in this contest. Like Butler, he’s still listed on the injury report as questionable, but the Warriors have revealed that he’s active.
Available — Draymond Green (right rib contusion)
Thankfully it was just a one-game absence for Green, who is ready to go again despite being on the injury report.
Nuggets
Probably — Zeke Nnaji (right ankle sprain)
Unlike the Warriors, the Nuggets injury report is very slim. It’s just Nnaji, a back-of-the-bench player who has played just 11 minutes across three games this year.
Enjoy the action, Dub Nation!
