Zoey Serrano (aka Zoey Stark in WWE) had a solid debut match on TNA Impact (Sep. 3, 2026), but it wasn’t all peaches and cream. Serrano lost her cool to attack a fan, and she was on the losing end of the result.
Serrano teamed with Knockouts champion Xia Brookside to wrestle Indi Hartwell and Harley Hudson. When Hartwell dominated Serrano early, aggression was taken out on a fan for chanting, “Zoey sucks!” Serrano shoved him in the face. Director of operations Daria Rae stuck by her friend to blame
the fan. The Suit claimed that Serrano acted in self-defense.
Serrano got back in the ring to handle Hartwell with a German suplex and a knee strike. Brookside made the blind tag to steal the pin from her partner. When Hartwell kicked out, Brookside comically blamed Serrano at fault. The babyfaces rallied. Hudson landed a flying crossbody onto Serrano outside. Hartwell submit Brookside for the victory.
As is often the case in TNA, beat the champ and a title shot is granted. Hartwell came to collect from Daria with a request for the Knockouts Championship match. Request denied. Daria gave the match to newcomer Gabby Forza, who hasn’t proven anything in TNA to earn this opportunity.
Well, that debut didn’t end well for Serrano. She can easily point to Brookside as a terrible partner, which is true. Brookside did no favors to make this match easier for Serrano. Seriously though, Serrano’s attitude was entertaining. Attacking the fan was a funny touch. Serrano is the new bully on the block, and Brookside was the yapping chihuahua.
