As Tyran Stokes enters the final stage of his recruitment, the 5-star prospect has announced his final three: The Kentucky Wildcats, Oregon Ducks, and Kansas Jayhawks. USC and Louisville were cut.
While
a decision date has not yet been announced, the expectation is that Stokes is on the verge of making one in time to sign with his school during the early signing period, which goes from November 12–19. Recruits who do not commit during the early window will have the opportunity to sign during the regular period beginning April 15.
Stokes, the consensus top prospect in the class of 2026, is believed to be leaning toward Kentucky, though that matters little until he’s officially committed to a school. In a world where players can get paid through NIL and revenue sharing, recruitments can turn on a dime in this day and age.
While Kentucky may be in a good spot, it’s up to Mark Pope and his staff to get this across the finish line.
