The Cincinnati Bengals will look to bounce back this Sunday, when the Jacksonville Jaguars make their way to Paycor Stadium in Week 4. After coming out of Week 3 banged up, Bengals fans have been watching the practice status of several players.
Right guard uard Dalton Risner (knee) missed Wednesday’s practice and was listed as a nonparticipant on Thursday, as he worked on the rehab field with a brace on his right knee. As a veteran with a year in the offensive system, Risner has a chance to play Sunday
with limited practice reps if he and the team agree he can play. If he can’t go, Jalen Rivers has been working as the starting right guard in practice.
Safeties Bryan Cook (ankle) and Kyle Dugger (quadricep) are going to be a big focus over the next two practices. Cook was limited on Wednesday and Thursday, while Dugger missed both practices.
Cornerback DJ Turner (ankle) was a new addition to the report, as the team listed him as limited.
Defensive tackle B.J. Hill (Achilles) has missed the last two games, and after being listed as a nonparticipant on Wednesday, he wasn’t able to practice Thursday either. It is looking like we could be heading for a third straight week with Hill inactive.
Safety Jordan Battle (hamstring) has been limited the last two practices, while rookie receiver Colbie Young (knee) has not practiced and will be out at least this week, per head coach Zac Taylor.
Linebacker Swayze Bozeman (groin) who played some snaps in Week 3 was also listed as limited.
Defensive tackle Jonathan Allen got a rest day.
For Jacksonville, they had no players miss practice on Wednesday, but several were listed as limited. On Thursday, it was more of the same.
Their only nonparticipant was tight end Nate Boerkircher (illness).
Jacksonville appears relatively healthy heading into the matchup, while the Bengals have a few key injuries to keep their eyes on over the next three days.
