The Utah Jazz are at a crossroads now that they find themselves in the midst of a stretch where they’ve gone 3-7 in their last ten. Utah now finds themselves at 7th in the lottery standings and 13th in the Western
Conference standings. The Jazz have to decide what they want to do, and they need to do it quickly. If they want to keep their top-8 protected pick, they have a lot of work to do to get lower in the lottery standings. It’s the inverse for the playoffs. If Utah wants to make the playoffs, they have to turn the season around quickly.
The question is, what would you do? If you’re the Utah Jazz, would you tank for the best pick possible? Or would you go for a play-in spot?
