Training camp is in full swing in Cincinnati as the 2026 season approaches quickly for the Bengals, who have a revamped roster hoping to snap a three-year streak of missing the postseason.
Although there is a lot of excitement surrounding this roster, cornerback Dax Hill has now missed another practice due to an injury.
Hill has been dealing with what appears to be a hamstring issue suffered in Thursday’s practice, and it is clear Zac Taylor and his staff are playing it incredibly safe to avoid anything
long-term.
Taylor has not announced any sort of timetable for Hill, but there is a possibility that he won’t see the field for the first preseason game against the Detroit Lions this coming week.
Just like the entire team, this is a massive year for Hill because he is entering the final year of his contract after the Bengals exercised his fifth-year option.
Hill will be a crucial piece to the secondary in 2026 alongside DJ Turner, Jordan Battle, Bryan Cook, and others as they look to get the defense back on track.
