Heading into the current NFL season, there was no question in most Miami Dolphins fans’ that given all of the big name deapartures during this past offseason that the team’s best overall player was now clearly running back De’Von Achane. However, as is the unfortunate reality for us Dolphins fans, our star player suffered a torn ACL this past Sunday and will miss the remainder of the 2026-2027 season. I don’t know why I almost expect some injury like this to one of the teams top players but luck
is not something that this team has posessed in any quantity over the last several years. After processing this, another typical Dolphins-style heartbreak, I found myself wondering: who is now the best overall player on the team’s current active roster?
