The Las Vegas Raiders managed to get their first win in about three months (and are undefeated in 2026) while securing the No. 1 overall pick of the 2026 NFL draft. Week 18 was kind to the Raiders, and let’s
check in on how it treated a few old friends: Tre’von Moehrig, Jakobi Meyers and K’Lavon Chaissson.
Tre’von Moehrig
- Game result: 14-16, Panthers lose
- Stats: 6 tackles, 1 sack, 2 TFLs
Overall, this was a good performance from Moehrig. He was active with a handful of tackles, came up with a sack and had a TFL against the run. However, the safety will want one of the last plays of the game back. He bit on a play-action fake and left his man wide open for a first down with about two minutes left, leading to the Carolina Panthers losing to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, which nearly cost the Panthers the NFC South title and a playoff spot. However, Carolina got help on Sunday as the Atlanta Falcons beat the New Orleans Saints, creating a three-way tie for the division title and the Panthers held the tiebreaker. So, Carolina hosts the Los Angeles Rams in the first playoff game on Saturday. Moehrig finished the regular season with 103 tackles (one short of tying a career high), 14 TFLs (a career high, nearly triple his previous best of five and an NFL record for a defensive back), three sacks (career high), one interception and two passes defended.
Jakobi Meyers
- Game result: 41-7, Jaguars win
- Stats: 5 catches, 44 yards
Meyers was relatively quiet, as the Jacksonville Jaguars didn’t need him to do much while steamrolling the Tennessee Titans. The Titans jumped out to a 7-0 lead before Cam Ward exited with an injury on their second possession of the game, and it was all Jacksonville after that with 41 unanswered points. That locked up the AFC South title for the Jags, who host the Buffalo Bills in the morning game on Sunday. Meyers finishes the regular season with 75 catches, 835 yards and three touchdowns, with 42 catches, 483 yards and all three scores coming with the Jaguars (nine games).
K’Lavon Chaisson
- Game result: 38-10, Patriots win
- Stats: 3 tackles, 1 sack, 2 QB hits
The New England Patriots already had the NFC East locked up, but the win on Sunday helped secure the two-seed in the AFC. This one was never much of a contest, partially due to New England’s pass-rush with four sacks and nine QB hits. Chaisson got involved in the action, adding to his career high with 7.5 sacks on the campaign. He also recorded a career high 10 TFLs and two forced fumbles while accumulating 31 tackles. The Patriots will host the Los Angeles Chargers in the evening game on Sunday.
