The Tennessee Titans have holes they need to fill all over their roster. The two biggest in my eyes are EDGE and wide receiver. They do have a couple of promising young players at receiver in Chimere Dike
and Elic Ayomanor, but they still desperately need a #1 receiver. This week, I asked what the Titans’ biggest draft need was with the options being EDGE, WR, or other. I was pretty surprised that WR came in third place:
It’s tough for me between EDGE and WR. There is no doubt they need more help at EDGE than receiver, but this offense isn’t really going to be dynamic until they have that alpha receiver.
Then, as always, we had the confidence question:
The only thing that gives me any confidence at this point is that Mike McCoy has been bad, so that means they won’t consider him for the full-time head coaching position once the season is over.
Maybe next year the Titans will have some games where they are within a touchdown of the other team on the closing spread. The Titans are currently +9.5 against the Los Angeles Chargers today over at FanDuel.
