Yesterday we reported on how Manor Solomon’s agent said the Israeli international wants to leave Tottenham Hotspur this summer. Today, we have more details from an Israeli sports channel. Sport5 is reporting that West Ham United has emerged as one of the clubs interested in taking Manor off our hands next season, along with Fiorentina.
The thought
is that Solomon would be the replacement for Crysensio Summerville, who recently departed the Hammers for Al Hilal in the Saudi Premier League. We know that Solomon is pretty ace in the Championship as he spent a season there on loan at Leeds and he tallied 10 goals and 12 assists in 2600 minutes. That also likely means he’d be good on a lower level Premier League side like, say, Hull City, or a mediocre Serie A team like Fiorentina.
It sure does seem like Solomon is heading to the exit when the club returns from their preseason tour. So West Ham? Sure, why not! It’s just a few miles from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium so he wouldn’t even have to relocate, assuming that he actually has a house in London considering he’s been on loan in Italy, Spain, and Leeds over the past few seasons. And after we purchases Mateus Fernandes from the Hammers, this would be a decent signing for them in a Championship campaign. Assuming he wants to go.
