Violence on Valentine’s Day!
Zuffa Boxing 2 has locked in its second main event, as former IBF Heavyweight champion Charles Martin is set to collide with Nigerian knockout artist Efe Ajagba on Sat., Feb.
14, 2026, inside the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Boxing reporter Dan Rafael was the first to report the news.
Martin (30-4) captured the IBF Heavyweight title in typical political boxing fashion back in 2016. After Tyson Fury vacated the belt to pursue a rematch with Wladimir Klitschko, the title became vacant, opening the door for Martin to face Vyacheslav Glazkov. Martin ultimately claimed the championship when Glazkov suffered a fight-ending injury, crowning Martin as the new titleholder.
His reign, however, was short-lived.
Martin dropped the belt in his first defense, suffering a second-round knockout loss to Anthony Joshua (watch highlights). Since then, the 38-year-old veteran has gone 7-3, though consistency has been an issue, as he has alternated wins and losses in five straight bouts. He most recently returned to the win column with a knockout victory over Matthew McKinney last November.
Ajagba (20-1-1), meanwhile, enters the bout coming off a majority draw against Martin Bakole on the Canelo vs. Scull undercard. Prior to that setback, the 31-year-old was riding a five-fight win streak and had captured the WBC Silver Heavyweight title.
Ajagba is also known for owning one of boxing’s strangest records: the fastest win in the sport’s history, after opponent Curtis Harper exited the ring just one second after the opening bell, resulting in a disqualification.
No other fights have been announced for Zuffa Boxing 2, although the inaugural Zuffa Boxing event goes down next Friday (Jan. 23, 2026).
