In some data compiled by Sport Bild journalists Christian Falk and Julian Agardi (as captured by @iMiaSanMia_GER), Bayern Munich is getting close to a break even point for the transfer fee that it initially paid for wayward winger and annual loanee Bryan Zaragoza.
The Spaniard is on loan with Espanyol at the moment and surely hoping that he can show enough to stick:
Bayern is already recouping almost the entire 17 million € transfer fee for Bryan Zaragoza. AS Roma and Celta Vigo paid 4 million € and 2
million € loan fees, respectively. The buy option for Espanyol is at 8.5 million €. This would result in a loss of 2.5 million €. [Bayern-Insider @cfbayern @AgardiJulian]
The one part that the analysis from Falk and Agardi do not account for, however, is Zaragoza’s salary which is listed as a total package of €4.71 million (salary + bonus). But, hey, getting back close to what they paid for him initially would ease the sting at least a little bit, eh?
