Two wins and a bye. That sums up the last three weeks for the Miami Dolphins, a team that was 2-7 but is close to turning around a miserable season and, at least according to AFC playoff picture graphics used on the television broadcasts on Sunday, back in the hunt for a postseason berth. The oddsmakers seem to think Miami can turn back-to-back wins into an actual winning streak with a Week 12 victory over the New Orleans Saints.
The Dolphins beat the Buffalo Bills in Week 10 in Miami, then traveled
to Spain to face the Washington Commanders in Week 11, winning that game. Miami was not scheduled to play in Week 12, sitting out the week after the travel to Madrid and back. Now, they host the Saints, who have struggled to a 2-9 record this season. New Orleans lost to the Atlanta Falcons in Week 12.
The oddsmakers at FanDuel Sportsbook have Miami favored to win its third-straight contest. The Dolphins are 5.5-point favorites as of Monday morning. They are -295 on the moneyline, while the Saints are +240.
The point total is 42.5 combined points in the game.
Kickoff for the game is at 1 p.m. Eastern on Sunday from Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.
