The 2026 NFL season is officially here, which means it’s time to look ahead at what the Atlanta Falcons will be wearing every week. With the new uniforms in rotation, they’re going to look good no matter what—but the team does plan to wear their perfect 1966-inspired throwbacks for two games this season.
Let’s take a look.
- Week 1, at Steelers – White
- Week 2, vs. Panthers – Red
- Week 3, at Packers – White
- Week 4, at Saints – Red
- Week 5, vs. Ravens – Red
- Week 6, vs. Bears – Red
- Week 7, vs. 49ers – Throwbacks
- Week 8, at Buccaneers – White
- Week 9, vs. Bengals – Red
- Week 10, vs. Chiefs – Red
- Week 11, BYE
- Week 12, at Vikings – White
- Week 13, vs. Lions – Throwbacks
- Week 14, at Browns – White
- Week 15, at Commanders – White
- Week 16, vs. Buccaneers – White
- Week 17, vs. Saints – Red
- Week 18, at Panthers – White
It’s a pretty solid jersey schedule overall. The only letdown to me is that the team is going from wearing throwbacks three times in 2025 to only wearing them twice in 2026. But
it makes sense considering they likely want to show off their new uniforms. My favorite matchup is going to be the Detroit Lions game in Week 13. Something about that Lions’ Honolulu blue and the Falcons throwbacks is going to make for a nice display on the field.
An interesting note is that these are just the tops, we likely won’t know what pants they wear until the week of each game (aside from the throwback games which, will be white pants.)
I know some don’t care what they wear, as long as they win, and I get that. But if you’re going to watch 17 games of this team, might as well look nice visually even if their performance doesn’t always back it up.
