Some Guardians fans took in two baseball games yesterday and saw two, joyous walk-off wins against the Tigers.

To heroics all day from the bullpen including Erik Sabrowski, Daniel Espino and Hunter Gaddis all throwing two innings a-piece, it was a day to remember at Progressive Field. Let’s hope tonight is another one.
The Guardians are 9-2 against the Tigers this season. With Williams and Messick starting these last two games, need to find a way to make it 11-2.
Chase DeLauter left yesterday’s game with wrist pain. Stephen Vogt was typically optimistic he would avoid the IL. Same for Angel Martinez who left with a bruised shoulder after colliding with Rocchio.
Bench coach Tony Arnerich AGAIN called for a stupid bunt in Vogt’s absence (ejected for arguing with the home plate umpire about a pitch clock violation). Having Rocchio bunt period is dumb but with Bailey on second and the Tigers clearly playing the bunt, it was especially inane. I don’t like what I have seen of his strategic mind.

The White Sox, Astros and Blue Jays won, the Twins, Rangers and Orioles lost. The Guardians are a game up on the Blue Jays (who have a very easy September schedule also) and 2.5 games behind the White Sox.
