After suffering a heartbreaking overtime loss to the Detroit Lions in Week 1, the New Orleans Saints bounced back in impressive fashion Sunday, securing their first win of the season with a 24-17 victory over the Baltimore Ravens. The Saints showed tremendous grit and determination, pulling off a stunning upset on the road.
Despite entering the matchup as 8.5-point underdogs, New Orleans proved it could compete with one of the AFC’s toughest teams. The victory provided a much-needed boost of confidence
and plenty of reasons for optimism moving forward.
The Saints will now return to the Superdome to take on the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday. The Raiders enter the matchup with momentum of its own after defeating the Los Angeles Chargers 26-14.
Both teams will look to build on their Week 2 victories in what should be a competitive showdown.
For the Saints, Sunday presents an opportunity to build on their early-season momentum and give what will be a very excited home crowd plenty to cheer about.
