Recruits want proof of concept from Florida State and after the week 1 thrashing of Alabama; interest is rising in Florida State, particularly from the top target on its 2027 recruiting board, Five-Star QB Kavian Bryant:
“What we always thought, I think Florida State is definitely a good fit for him,” the elder Bryant said. “They checked some boxes we want for him as far as coaching staff, being the type of coaching staff to be an extension of his family, helping him be a better young man first before football. Coach Norvell stressed those things are important and we see it with how the other players respond to him.”
Florida State has a lot of what the Bryant family is looking for from a football standpoint as well.
“Them being invested that he has a pathway to the field. I believe he has a pathway to the field early there if he goes in and competes and earns it. Those things resonate with me. And the academic side, the things that line up as far as education is extremely important as well.”
