A win! For Penn State! At home! Against a power four team! In blowout fashion! It took until the end of November, but we finally got here.
During and following the game, Nittany Lions’ fans and lettermen
alike were saying the elephant in the room out loud. What if we just hired Terry?
Some fans were even wondering what was holding Penn State back the rest of the season. Maybe this certain thing is now the head coach of Virginia Tech. It’s a bit bittersweet.
And, of course, Penn State was straight up dominating. The defense was flying around and making stops, Ethan Grunkemeyer looked as comfortable as ever, and the Nittany Lions’ run game was back in full swing.
The cherry on top of a near-euphoric senior night was, of course, Kaytron Allen. He had a monster game and finally broke Penn State’s all-time rushing yardage record. What a fitting end for Fatman in Beaver Stadium.
