Bayern Munich have shattered some major records this season. The team scored the most goals in a single Bundesliga season by some margin, and became the 2nd highest scoring side in the history of the top 5 leagues. The front three of Harry Kane, Luis Díaz, and Michael Olise had a lot to do with that.
Speaking in an interview with Bundesliga.com, FC Bayern star Jamal Musiala ouldn’t hide his admiration for the front three that he plays with:
Bundesliga: There has been a lot of talk about Bayern’s incredible
front three of Harry Kane, Luis Díaz and Michael Olise. What has made them so special?
Musiala: “For Lucho [Díaz], his 1v1 ability is amazing. When it comes to his energy and aggressiveness, everything is always at 100%. Then you see his technical ability too. I think his consistency is amazing. Harry is Harry. He has scored a lot of goals this season. He has a big role in the team, as one of the leaders, and you can learn a lot from him.
“I think all three of them have scored amazing goals, and big goals. With Michael, he has taken a massive step from last season. I think his mentality is amazing. His 1v1 ability, shooting, I think everything about him is fun to watch. He is definitely one of the best players in the world this season.”
Musiala is certainly not wrong in his assessment. Kane, Lucho, and Olise have formed the best front three in the world this season. Their output rivals that of the MSN (Messi, Suarez, and Neymar) trio from FC Barcelona’s heyday. Now, if Musiala could add his numbers to theirs next season, Europe might see something truly terrifying.
