If the last few weeks have been any sort of sign, it’s going to be a January in which Juventus youngster Vasilije Adžić will probably be heading out somewhere else to find some much-needed regular playing
time.
It also seems like there isn’t a lack of teams interested in trying to bring the young Montenegrin in, either.
According to reports from Italian transfer reporter Nicolo Schira and TuttoJuve’s Mirko Di Natale, four Serie A clubs are interested in signing the 19-year-old Adžić on a short-term loan deal for the second half of the 2025-26 season. It would be a move that would allow Adžić some much-needed playing time during a point in the season in which Juventus manager Luciano Spalletti has rarely used the young attacking midfielder in recent weeks. Di Natale named three of the clubs interested in signing Adžić next month: Cagliari, Lecce and the Pisa side that Juventus just beat this past weekend.
But the reporting regarding Adžić leaving has been very clear: Juve are only loaning him out on a short-term basis and have no plans on working any sort of buy option or even going as far as selling him during the January transfer window.
Since Adžić got the start in Juventus’ win over Bodø/Glimt in the Champions League on Nov. 25, he has played a grand total of … 16 minutes. Those also happened to come in the Champions League in Juve’s win over Pafos FC, but it’s notable that Adžić‘s playing time has certainly took a downturn under Spalletti as compared to when Igor Tudor was manager in Turin. Tudor was a known fan of Adžić, who has made just five appearances under Spalletti since his appointment back in late-October.
So it’s pretty safe to say that much more regular playing time is what Adžić needs most these days.
It certainly would be better than seeing him sit on the bench more often than not — which seems to be the way things are trending under Spalletti right now.
