Harry Kane did most of the dirty work for Bayern Munich following their 3-0 defeat of relegation fodder Werder Bremen. The Englishman’s brace puts him at 26 goals for the season, which had everyone thinking of him dethroning Robert Lewandowski’s 41-goal record from the 2020/21 season. Kane will put that on the backburner for now, but he’ll certainly give it a go.
“Anything is possible, but there’s still a long way to go”, Kane said (as captured by @iMiaSanMia). “It’s an unbelievable record. I’m in a good
moment right now. It’s nice to help the team. We’ll see where I am when we get to April, I’ll start to think about it by then. But right now, it’s just about the next one”.
The 32-year-old will have plenty of chances to score more goals and help Bayern retain the Meisterschale. Even in Europe and in the DFB-Pokal, things are looking good for Kane and Bayern.
