Welcome back to College Football Saturday!
While your Miami Hurricanes are on a bye this week, there are PLENTY of other games to enjoy today in the meantime.
While you watch games from coast to coast today,
hop in the comments and talk about the action as it happens. And, in case you needed to know who to root for in games with ACC teams, we’ve got you covered on that front:
I’ll post a couple highlight games in this window, but here’s a watchgrid graphic from TrigDraws, a contributor with another network.

Anyways, a couple games to keep an eye on in the early window, with lines provided by our friends at FanDuel Sportsbook:
- #22 Notre Dame at Arkansas, Noon, ABC; line: Notre Dame -6.5 — This is a must-win game for the Irish, who enter ranked despite being 0-2 on the year. If ND is going to try and make a push for a spot in the College Football Playoffs, a win in Fayetteville has to be the first step.
- #21 USC at #23 Illinois, Noon, Fox; line: USC -6.5 — USC looks to continue their strong start. Illinois was ranked 9th last week before a 7 touchdown loss on the road at Indiana. Both teams need this game badly if they want to stay in the Big10 race.
- #16 Georgia Tech at Wake Forest, Noon, ESPN; line: GT -13.5 — Another strong start from the Yellow Jackets, and a light remainder of the ACC schedule, has them dreaming of a trip to Charlotte for the ACCCG. Wake looks to play spoiler.
- Louisville at Pitt, Noon, ESPN2; line: Louisville -4.5 — Miami plays both of these teams later this year, so this is a key ACC game to pay attention to.
- #4 LSU at #13 Ole Miss, 3:30pm, ABC; line: Ole Miss -1.5 — Huge SEC game between ranked teams. LSU looks to keep the momentum going, while Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss look to FINALLY win a big game over a ranked team. And they’re at home. If ever there was gonna be a time, Lane…..
- Auburn at #9 Texas A&M, 3:30pm, ESPN; line: aTm -6.5 — Like Miami, A&M has an early win over Notre Dame to their credit. The Aggies look to dispatch the Tigers and keep their strong September going.
There are more games, obviously, but those are the ones that stick out to me in the early window.
While there are some good to great matchups here in the early window today, the headliners are in primetime
Let’s talk some football until we’re back for the primetime headliners later. You WON’T want to miss those.
