It is time for our predictions for the Wild Card Series. Yes, we will have Game Threads. One thread a day, unless they run too long. The games are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (if needed).
Pick your winner in each of the three series and the number of games. And guess the total number of runs scored in all the games to be used as a tie-breaker.

The Wild Card Series start tomorrow. We have:
White Sox @ Houston. All their games are 5:00 Eastern
starts. Both teams list TBD as starters. Former Jays Anthony Kay Seranthony Dominguez and Randal Grichuk play for the White Sox. Daulton Varsho is on the IL.
Red Sox @ Yankees. Their games are all 8:00 Eastern starts. Schlittler starts for the Yankees. TBD listed for the Red Sox. Can I pick both to lose? IKF plays for the Red Sox.
Phillies @ Braves. Their games are 2:00 Eastern starts. Chris Sale starts for the Braves. TBD for Padres. Tim Mayza plays for the Phillies. Lane Thomas is on the IL for the Braves.
Cubs @ Padres: Their games are 10:00 Eastern starts. Michael King starts for the Padres. TBD is listed for the Cubs. Matthew Boyd and Kevin Gausman play for the Cubs. Ty France, Robbie Ray and Will Wagner (on the IL) play for the Padres.

Astros in 3.
Red Sox in 3, because someone has to to win and I’d be hit by lightening if I even picked the Yankees.
Braves in 2.
Cubs in 2, because I want to see Kevin Gausman in the World Series.
