What is the story about?
Kara Lawson’s Duke team learned its NCAA destiny on Sunday, and the Blue Devils will be the #3 seed in the Sacramento 1 Regional.
Duke will start off at home in Cameron against #14 seed Charleston. Also in Duke’s regional: #1 UCLA, #2 LSU, and #6 Baylor. Duke, of course, lost to all three early in the season, so there’s a chance for a bit of payback along the way.
Just as with the men, though, you don’t have any idea of what is going to happen.
Also like the men though, this team has shown a lot of
heart and character, and it’s hard to imagine it not living up to its potential.
The question is where that potential is. We’ll find out soon.
