According to a report from Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg, Bayern Munich’s interest in Eintracht Frankfurt defender Nathaniel Brown is powered by the Germany international’s versatility.
Brown can play left-back, right-back, and also as a left-wing. As the club attempts to balance keeping a tight salary budget with a smaller roster than many big clubs. how flexible players can be with positions is becoming paramount:
🚨🆕 One of the big advantages FC Bayern see in Nathaniel Brown is his
versatility. This is what Vincent Kompany made clear during the talks.
The 22 y/o can play as a left-back, right-back and also in an advanced left-wing role. Despite other reports, Ismael Saibari is not Bayern’s 1:1 option for the left-wing position following the failed pursuit of Anthony Gordon.
As revealed, Bayern have already opened talks for Brown. No agreement between the clubs yet. @SkySportDE 🇩🇪
Brown, of course, will not come cheap and talks could be intense.
