According to a report from Sky Germany journalists Florian Plettenberg and Philipp Hinze, Brajan Gruda wants to eschew a move back to Brighton & Hove Albion in favor of a longer stay with RB Leipzig.
RB Leipzig would prefer to bring Gruda back on another loan deal, but it is unclear if Brighton will attempt to hold out and hope for a straight sale:

For budget reasons, Leipzig
are pushing for another loan deal – this time with either an option to buy or an obligation to buy. Brighton are willing to let him leave. @philipphinze24
Gruda had three goals and three assists in 14 games across all competitions for RB Leipzig after making the move back to Germany in January. Prior to that, Gruda, who plays as an attacking midfielder and a winger, had three goals and three assists in 20 games across all competitions for Brighton.
