Bayern Munich has some big names that have equally big price tags. But, surprisingly enough, not big enough to compete with the rest of Europe.
According to the latest June 2026 update from Transfermarkt, as captured by @iMiaSanMia, Bayern Munich features prominently among the elite with two stars firmly placed in the top 20 most valuable players in the world.
Leading the way for the Bavarian side is Michael Olise, who has climbed to the number five spot on the global list with a massive evaluation
of €150 million. Joining him in the top rankings is Jamal Musiala, whose consistent performances see him at 16th position, with a valuation of €100 million. Musiala, though, has seen some recent decreases in his valuation after his arguably mediocre performances coming back from injury. That means that some surprising names are above him on the list, including Declan Rice, Bukayo Saka, and Désiré Doué. Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal leads the pack, worth €200 million, with Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe behind him in that order.
The presence of both Olise and Musiala high up on this list shows the elite talent that Max Eberl and Christoph Freund are building around. Having two players combine for a total market value of a quarter of a billion euros highlights why the hierarchy is so determined to keep hold of their core assets. Of course, clubs with big money, even if it’s money from questionable sources, like PSG and Manchester City will always have bigger names and even bigger price tags, but the principles at Bayern will always mean more to the fans that how fat their wallet is.
