“Let me bang wrestle, bro.”
Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) held a rare midweek event last night (Thurs., June 4, 2026), as BKFC Hollywood went down inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.
In the main event, former BKFC Welterweight champion Julian Lane squared off against boxer-turned-bare-knuckle prospect Bryce Henry in a fight that ended in complete chaos.
Through three rounds, the bout was surprisingly competitive. Henry appeared to take the opening two frames before Lane
rallied in the third.
Then Lane apparently forgot what sport he was competing in.
Midway through the fourth round, a frustrated Lane changed levels and blasted Henry with a double-leg takedown, planting him on the canvas. Moments later, the referee stepped in and disqualified the former champion, while Henry happily grabbed his back on the ground and sold the foul for all it was worth.
Check out the bizarre ending below:
Following the disqualification, Lane reacted exactly how longtime combat sports fans would expect him to react: by loudly questioning why he was disqualified.
Well … maybe because you tackled somebody during a bare-knuckle boxing match.
Maybe?
The loss marks Lane’s second straight defeat. Before Thursday night’s bizarre ending, “Let Me Bang” dropped the BKFC Welterweight title to Dustin Pague earlier this year in a closely contested battle.
As for Henry, the victory improves his perfect BKFC record to 6-0 and could position him for the biggest fight of his career. Following the win, the undefeated contender called out both BKFC Welterweight champions in an effort to secure a title opportunity.
The 25-year-old entered BKFC after a successful traditional boxing career, compiling a 7-1 professional record with five knockouts.
