
Good morning! Or, more specifically, good morning to everyone but the people potentially involved in selling off MLB.tv to ESPN, as reported by Kendall Baker yesterday afternoon:
As someone that’s been an MLB.tv subscriber since
the first year it was available (it launched on my birthday in 2002), and who has basically eschewed ESPN for about 15 years now, the MLB.tv part is kind of horrifying. Sure, ESPN could simply leave the product as is, but given the way this year has gone in all respects, I fear the worst. ESPN/other sport integration I don’t want, gambling integration that will make my blood boil, and probably other things I haven’t thought of yet.
Some of you probably don’t rely on MLB.tv at all. You may be the lucky ones going forward. If you do rely on MLB.tv, though, how bad do you think this is going to get?
