
The Wisconsin Badgers jumped up two spots from No. 8 to No. 6 in the latest AVCA rankings after a 2-0 week, improving their record to 3-1 on the season.
Wisconsin got its first two sweeps of the season, beating UC Davis 25-23, 26-24, 25-15 on Thursday before easily getting past Chicago State 25-8, 25-13, 25-11 on Friday.
With Arizona State suffering a loss and Penn State going 0-2 with losses to TCU
and Kentucky, Wisconsin bumped up two spots to No. 6 in the rankings. Here is the full Top 10, with first-place votes in parentheses.

Wisconsin hosts Milwaukee on Tuesday night at the UW Field House before their first road contest of the season: a trip to Atlanta to face the No. 21 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. That match is set for 6:00 p.m. on Friday on ESPN2.
The Badgers have some tough competition coming up. After their bout with Georgia Tech, they’ll take on Marquette next Wednesday in the Fiserv Forum before hosting the No. 16 Florida Gators at the Kohl Center on Sunday.
After that, Big Ten play begins, with Wisconsin hosting Rutgers to kick things off.
But, first off, the Badgers will have to take care of business against Milwaukee on Tuesday, with first serve set for 7:30 p.m.
