New England Patriots left tackle Will Campbell is believed to have a sprained MCL and is awaiting MRI results on his right knee, multiple outlets reported Monday.
The rookie blind-side protector for quarterback Drake Maye was carted off the field during the third quarter of New England's 26-20 victory Sunday in Cincinnati.
The Patriots also lost rookie left guard Jared Wilson to a high-ankle sprain in the first quarter, with NFL Network reporting that he is considered week-to-week.
Campbell, 21, is
not likely to play next Monday against the New York Giants, Patriots coach Mike Vrabel said in a radio appearance on WEEI Monday morning. He didn't rule out a stint on injured reserve, but Vrabel didn't seem to think it would be a season-ending injury for Campbell with the Patriots (10-2) on a nine-game winning streak and positioned for a strong playoff seed.
"He won't be out there this week and it's gonna be a couple weeks," Vrabel said. "We'll have to make a decision here on the roster to see how long that'll be and go from there. It's nothing that's gonna hopefully put him out for the entire season."
Campbell, the No. 4 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, has started all 12 games.
Wilson, 22, has started 11 games since the Patriots picked him in the third round in the 2025 draft.
Vederian Lowe replaced Campbell at left tackle following the injury, while Ben Brown came in for Wilson.
