Oct 28 (Reuters) - Formula One statistics for Sunday's Mexico City Grand Prix at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez, round 19 of the championship.
TITLE PERMUTATIONS
Sunday's race is set to crown Mercedes' Kimi Antonelli as Formula One's youngest champion, at 20 years old, and Italy's first since Alberto Ascari in 1953.
Antonelli is 123 points clear of teammate and closest rival George Russell and 124 ahead of Ferrari's Lewis Hamilton.
That means Antonelli will be champion if he finishes in the top nine.
If he ends up 10th, the title is still done providing Russell does not win.
Antonelli does not need to score if Russell and Hamilton fail to win.
Antonelli has been off the podium only three times this season, on one of those occasions finishing fifth and failing to score in the others (Barcelona and Britain). He has won nine times, a tally nobody else can equal.
Last season, Antonelli started and finished sixth in Mexico.

The race was won from pole position in 2015, 2016, 2022, 2024 and 2025.
Sunday will be the 26th time Mexico has held a championship grand prix. Cadillac's Sergio Perez will be the sole Mexican driver and is starting his 300th F1 race.

YOUNGEST CHAMPION
The current youngest champion is Germany's Sebastian Vettel with Red Bull in 2010 at the age of 23 years and 134 days. The only past Italian champions were Giuseppe Farina (1950) and Alberto Ascari (1952, 1953).
CONSTRUCTORS' TITLE
Mercedes are 133 points clear of Ferrari in the constructors' standings with a maximum 215 still to be won and 172 after Mexico.
The title can be won this weekend if Mercedes score maximum points (43) and Ferrari score four points or less.
Mercedes could also win the title with a first and third if Ferrari draw a blank.
RACE WINS
Six drivers have won races this season: Antonelli nine, including five in a row early on. Russell three, Norris and Verstappen two each, Hamilton and Charles Leclerc one apiece.
Antonelli won in China, Japan, Miami, Canada, Monaco, Belgium, Italy, Spain and Texas. Russell in Australia, Austria and Azerbaijan. Norris won in Hungary and the Netherlands, Hamilton in Barcelona and Leclerc in Britain. Verstappen won the Bahrain GP in Malaysia and Singapore.
Mercedes have won 12 of 18 races.

Norris was on pole in Hungary, the Netherlands and Spain. Alpine's Pierre Gasly took pole in Italy and Verstappen in Malaysia and Singapore.
