What's Happening?
Stockport County Football Club has received approval for a £50 million redevelopment of its Edgeley Park stadium. The expansion will increase the stadium's capacity from 10,900 to 18,305 seats. The project includes the demolition and replacement of the East Stand, as well as extensions to the North and South Stands. The new East Stand will feature seating, food and drink units, retail spaces, and community areas. The North Stand will be extended by 600 seats and undergo structural repairs.
