The 22nd annual Whirlpool Community Charity Golf Event, held on August 3-4, successfully raised over $3.2 million for youth organizations in Berrien County, Michigan. The event, which took place across six golf courses, attracted 884 participants, marking the highest turnout in its history. The tournament featured a Fireside Chat with PGA Tour Champions golfer Justin Leonard and Pro Football Hall of Famer Barry Sanders, along with a silent auction. The funds raised will benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Southwest Michigan, First Tee of Benton Harbor, and public school foundations in Benton Harbor, Lakeshore, and St. Joseph. Since its inception, the event has raised more than $37 million, positively impacting approximately 10,000 young people annually.
