Delhi take on Andhra Pradesh in the first match of their campaign on Wednesday (December 24). Virat Kohli is all set to return to the Vijay Hazare Trophy for the first time in almost a decade after he was
named in the Delhi squad for the first two games. Rishabh Pant will lead Delhi in the tournament and it was confirmed by the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA). However despite having some big stars like Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant, this match will likely not be telecasted by Jio Hotstar or BCCI.
For people asking about #VijayHazareTrophy live streaming: only matches from two venues will be streamed on @JioHotstar and @StarSportsIndia: Narender Modi Stadium Ground ‘A’ and Niranjan Stadium, Rajkot, which means you won’t be able to see Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma in action

Kohli’s return to the domestic setup comes as he look a for some more game time when not on national duty. Having retired from two formats already, Virat Kohli is aiming for the World Cup 2027. He will next be in action in the ODI series against New Zealand which starts January 11.
However Delhi & Andhra Pradesh has been shifted from Chinnaswamy and will be played at BCCI’s COE tomorrow at Bangaluru. Due to the fans demand there and the shift in venue there is a slight chance that they might stream the match live tomorrow. Initially, this match was scheduled to be played at Chinnaswamy but due to Virat’s huge fandom, it raised security concerns and there were thoughts that fans may gather in large numbers. So, it got shifted to BCCI’s COE at last moment which is also in Bangaluru.
Kohli has been in great form in ODI format and finished as India’s top run-getter in 2025 amassing 651 runs in 13 games at a strike rate close to 96. Delhi have named a strong squad for the opening match tomorrow with the likes of Virat Kohli, Pant, Nitish Rana and Ishant Sharma among others.
