Krafton India has revealed the BGMI Esports 2026 roadmap, featuring four big tournaments and several third-party events throughout the year. The season begins in January and ends in October, giving players
non-stop BGMI esports action from open qualifiers to international LAN events.
BGMI Esports 2026 Roadmap
January – BGIS 2026
The year starts with BGIS 2026 (Battlegrounds Mobile India Series), an open-for-all tournament where any eligible team can register.
It helps new teams get discovered and qualify for pro events like BMPS. The format will include in-game qualifiers, regional rounds, and a final LAN event.
April – Third-Party Events
April will host the first “Open for All” slot for third-party tournaments.
These events, organized by partners like Nodwin Gaming or Skyesports, give new and local teams a chance to compete and gain exposure. Krafton will officially support these events to ensure fair play and proper structure.
May – BMPS 2026
Next comes BMPS 2026 (Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series), featuring top teams from BGIS and previous seasons.
It’s one of India’s biggest pro leagues, known for high-level competition and big prize pools (expected over ₹2 crore). The top teams often qualify for global tournaments like PMGC.
June to August – More Third-Party Events
From June to August, the focus shifts again to community tournaments by third-party organizers.
These include online leagues, campus events, and regional cups to keep the esports scene active and give new players more chances to shine.
September – BMSD 2026
BMSD 2026 (Battlegrounds Mobile India Showdown) returns in September.
This major LAN event will feature 48 top teams fighting for the national title and PMGC slots. Expect massive production, high prize pools (around ₹1 crore), and intense competition between India’s best squads.
October – BMIC 2026
The season ends with BMIC 2026 (Battlegrounds Mobile India Championship) in October.
It’s an international LAN event where top Indian teams face off against squads from Korea, Japan, and other regions. The winners earn direct spots in PMGC 2026.
