On This Day: CSK legend MS Dhoni became the first player to feature in 200 IPL matches in 2020

Guiding one of the most successful teams in the Indian Premier League (IPL) history, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to record five titles, former Indian cricketer and legend MS Dhoni continues to feature in the league despite turning 44. However, he continues to play his best brand of cricket, on this day in 2020, MS Dhoni became the first player to feature in 200 matches in the tournament’s history.

Taking the field in CSK’s match against Rajasthan Royals at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi, Dhonibecame the first player to appear in his 200th IPL match.
