Indian icon ScoutOP announces retirement from BGMI esports

Indian gaming legend Tanmay Singh, popularly known as ScoutOP, has announced retirement from BGMI Esports after the BGMS 2025. The 30-year-old is renowned for amazing gameplay tactics. He is one of the players who made a significant contribution in shaping esports and gaming community in India. Throughout his BGMI career, ScoutOP earned $64,730 in tournament winnings.

He was known for his highly tactical gameplay, scouting, flanking, and fragging skills in BGMI. Additionally, he is one of the biggest gaming influencers in India, with 5.08 million subscribers on YouTube and 4.4 million followers on Instagram.

ScoutOP retired from BGMI Esports

After the Grand Finals of the BGMS 2025 on Sunday, 14 September 2025, ScoutOP announced his retirement from BGMI Esports via social media

by saying, "Officially signing off. Tysm for everything."

The 30-year-old is regarded as one of the greatest players of PUBG Mobile/BGMI. He started his esports journey in 2018 and officially signed off in 2025. During his amazing career, he has achieved many feats, like finishing second in the PUBG Mobile World League 2020: East, and second place in the PUBG Mobile Club Open -Spring Split: India with Team IND.

Notably, Scout played for a total of 10 teams throughout his career, including Godlike Esports, TeamIND, Team Soul, XSpark, Fnatic, Orange Rock, Team Zero, Wyld Fangs, and Medal Esports.
